L.E.G.A.C.Y Awards Gala Connects Chicago Businesses and Entrepreneurs

ChiBizHub Shares Valuable Resources and Tools with Local Businesses

In late February, WBC attended the L.E.G.A.C.Y Awards Gala at Malcom X College. The annual Gala highlighted Chicago leaders in multiple industries including leadership, education, growth, advocacy, community outreach, and youth.

WBC’s Neighborhood and Strategic Initiatives (NSI) team was also in attendance, where they shared information on all core initiatives and programs to drive inclusive growth in Chicago. Approximately 650 people attended the gala for both the programming and networking portion of the event.

ChiBizHub, WBC’s online portal offering resources, tools and classes for aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners was at the event and came away with many new connections. The ChiBizHub team spoke to many entrepreneurs looking to grow their business and signed up approximately 25 business owners for further collaboration.
