Celebrating World Cultures in Chicago
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the partners, businesses, and shoppers who made the Cultural Showcase Pop-Ups an unforgettable experience.
c Ukraine, the Cultural Exchange Market, and The Rendez-Vous brought the world to Chicago, creating vibrant spaces that celebrated diverse cultures and supported local, diverse small businesses.
In collaboration with the Consulate Generals, these pop-ups transported us to the vibrant charms of Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Colombia, Pakistan, and France.
Local architects Vladimir Radutny Architects and Fitzgerald Architecture Planning Design brought their vision to life, while Show Strategy ensured every detail was perfect.
To all who shopped, dined, and immersed themselves in these cultural journeys, thank you for your support and for making these pop-ups a true showcase of Chicago's global spirit. While this project has now come to a close, the memories and connections made will forever enrich our city.

Argentine Connection
A former immersive experience from Argentina, patrons enjoyed 5411 Empanadas, Joan of Arc, Paxci-Trisquel rugs, and other authentic goods.
Colores Mexicanos
Now a permanent store on 605 Michigan Ave! Here you will find handmade Mexican clothing, tropical décor, jewelry, art and other cultural treasurers. The beautiful space is host to cultural events like mezcal tastings, local art exhibitions, soccer viewing parties and more.
Nordic House
Showcased the uniqueness of the Nordic region through an immersive experience of images, video, quality retail goods, food and culture.
Chicago Food Stop
Chicago’s first and only food-themed pop-up was open from Dec. 2022 through Sept. 2023. We showcased over 80 local food vendors and hosted over 20 events in our theater area.
The Rendez-Vous
Visit now through December 23, 2023! Enjoy fresh bites from La Boulangerie bakery and shop French goods from a variety of French makers. Located next to the North Face store in the former John Hancock Building.
Cultural Exchange Market
Have lunch, shop and engage at the Culture Exchange Market, which features Chicago-based retail and food businesses from Colombian, Kyrgyz, Pakistani, and Polish cultures.
c Ukraine
The c Ukraine pop-up celebrates Ukrainian culture and Chicago’s Ukrainian community. Occupying a ground-floor retail space in the Wrigley Building’s North Tower, it was designed by local Ukrainian architect Vladimir Radutny.
