Meet Eduardo ‘Eddie’ Lito Barraza, a Montclare community member for the past seven years. He moved to the neighborhood after needing to move to a nursing home after heart surgery.

Eddie chose Montclare because it was like the city in the suburbs. He’s still able to get around on foot and does not need to have a car. Since he’s taking walks in the neighborhood, he got to see how the people of Montclare are. He mentioned how they showed resilience in the face of the pandemic, and found unique ways such as creating their own small businesses by selling food and crafts.
