Baron Waller is the largest African American franchise owner of Culver's. The Chicagoan went from IT consultant to franchise owner. This Pullman location is Waller’s third Culver’s location in Chicago, adding to ones in Lincoln Square and Bronzeville. He also owns three Culver’s restaurants in the southwest suburbs.

The Pullman Culver’s brings 70 new jobs and qualified for $1.5 million in federal and state tax credits. It also received a $250,000 grant from Chicago’s Neighborhood Opportunity Fund.
